Notre Dame football will get the first chance to sign some of its 2026 prospects on Wednesday, as it looks like it’s going to be one of the top collections to talent nationally. Irish head coach Marcus Freeman has taken the recruiting to another level, and it has shown over the last few cycles with this group being his best. Not only that, it has taken its effect to the 2027 class as well, as the base for that group has been built over the last months. The influx of talent has been a major part of Notre Dame’s on-field success, as has been the fact that they don’t care much about rankings, more about players fitting inside the system.
