The Seattle Seahawks were dominant throughout Sunday’s 26-0 blowout shutout victory over the Minnesota Vikings in Week 13. Rookie undrafted Vikings quarterback Max Brosmer completed 19-of-30 passing attempts for 126 yards, zero touchdowns, four interceptions, and was sacked four times. In Week 14 against the Atlanta Falcons, the Seahawks will face a backup quarterback for a second straight game. This time, the backup quarterback is on the opposite side of the experienced spectrum. Brosmer was a rookie UDFA making his first career start. Kirk Cousins will be making his 163rd career start against the Seahawks on Sunday. That doesn’t necessarily mean the Seahawks can’t take advantage though.Cousins is 1-2 as a starter this campaign. The Falcons have lost four of five total games he’s appeared in. Last weekend, Cousins and the Falcons were defeated 27-24 by the lowly New York Jets on a last-second field goal.“I think Kirk (Cousins) is playing good ball,” #Falcons OC Zac Robinson said.— D. Orlando Ledbetter (@DOrlandoAJC) December 3, 2025In Cousins’ first start of the season, the Falcons were routed 34-10 by an underperforming Miami Dolphins team. Cousins’ only win of 2025 to date was a 24-10 victory over the rebuilding New Orleans Saints. The Seahawks will love their chances on Sunday.Cousins lost his starting job last year after throwing nine interceptions in a five-game stretch. He was replaced by top-10 pick Michael Penix Jr., who suffered a season-ending knee injury earlier this campaign. Mike Macdonald’s aggressive defense should take advantage of Cousins’ opportunity. This article originally appeared on Seahawks Wire: Seahawks could take advantage of another backup QB in Week 14
