Right now, the next cycle has seen Notre Dame get off to a great start, with five commitments to date. That number will fluctuate over the next few months as players will soon make decisions about their future.Notre Dame has tons of recruiting momentum, and is looking to capitalize on it once again in the 2027 class, and here is an overview of some of the most recent updates from Irish targets. There are plenty of familiar names on the 6-foot, 5-inch and 255-pounders remaining list. He’s one of the best prospects in the class, ranking as the No. 178 overall player. 2027 Tight end Jaxon Dollar cuts his list to 10 teams Thankful for every coach who believed in me enough to offer me an opportunity. With that being said, I’m looking forward to building on the relationships I have with these 10 schools. The 6-foot, 5-inch and 222-pound tight end very much likes the Irish, and has took numerous trips this fall. I think Notre Dame has a great shot here as it looked like he very much enjoyed his visit earlier this fall. Offer to 2028 defensive back Kinnard Mahomes After a great conversation with @CoachMickens, I am extremely blessed to receive an offer from the University of Notre Dame. Thank you for this opportunity. @GregoryMontre@_CoachCod@JourdanBlake_@ISDUpdate@ethoma10@ByKyleKelly@FriedmanAdamm@Andrew_Ivins@adamgorneypic.twitter.com/niMppfqFl5— Kinnard Mahomes (@Kinnard_mahomes) December 3, 2025The Maryland prospect isn’t ranked at the moment, actually no one is in his class. Mahomes has great size already at 6-foot and 165-pounds and hasn’t quite blown up nationally. He’s does have offers from Syracuse and Boston College along with some MAC schools. Notre Dame could be in early before he becomes a national prospect.
