Choctaw went on to capture the 6A-II title.Friday night, the Sandites seek to avenge those defeats to the Yellowjackets, with the rematch now the 6A-II championship game. Now, they seek to become the first 6A-II repeat champion since Bixby won four straight from 2018-21 before moving up to 6A-I.Sand Springs (10-2) now has the title drought to end. The Sandites haven’t won the gold ball since winning their only one in 1966.
