Daviess County drops a close game in the Grind Session Owensboro

OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEHT) — The Daviess County boy’s basketball team tipped off their year against Albuquerque Prep in the Grind Session Owensboro in a cross country matchup. The Panthers fell in a close game 75-69.Daviess County got off to a solid start, leading 5-0 early and even led 22-15 at the end of the first quarter. But Albuquerque Prep managed to keep the deficit close and came back to steal the win.Chattanooga commit, Jonathan Moss led the Panthers with 30 points and nine rebounds. While McKendree University commit, DeAaron Watkins finished with a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds.
