The 2025 regular season is entering its final stretch, which means award season is just around the corner. And despite their miserable and embarrassing campaign, some New York Giants may be in line to bring home some hardware.Ted Nguyen of The Athletic recently compiled his list of predictions for post-season awards, and despite missing two games with a concussion (and four games to start the season), he still believes quarterback Jaxson Dart has the edge in the Offensive Rookie of the Year chase.Dart didn’t start until Week 4 and missed two games with a concussion. If he misses more time, some voters could use that against him. Dart’s impact on the Giants offense is undeniable. He sparked a lifeless offense and will make the Giants one of the most sought-after coaching jobs this offseason. His legs are obviously an asset, but he’s quickly developing as a pocket passer and has high-level accuracy.Dart leads the charge, which also includes Indianapolis Colts tight end Tyler Warren and Carolina Panthers wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan. If Dart can remain healthy over the final four weeks of the Giants’ season, he has the opportunity to improve his numbers significantly with the team’s strength of schedule easing considerably. After returning from their bye week, the Giants will host the reeling Washington Commanders and Minnesota Vikings before visiting the Las Vegas Raiders and wrapping up their season at home against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 18 — a game that may carry no meaning.Through 10 games (eight starts) this year, Dart has completed 63.6 percent of his passes for 1,556 yards, 11 touchdowns, and three interceptions. He’d added 337 yards and seven additional scores on the ground while averaging 5.5 yards per attempt.Even if he maintains his current pace, Dart is projected to finish the season with 2,334 passing yards, 506 rushing yards, and 27 total touchdowns. This article originally appeared on Giants Wire: Giants’ Jaxson Dart predicted to win NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year
