Gracia demands more from hot-and- cold Hornets

Javi Gracia has overseen four wins in 11 games since returning to Watford [Getty Images]Watford manager Javi Gracia was unhappy with his side’s overall performance despite the 3-2 win over Norwich. The Hornets showing their fighting spirit again to come back twice from a goal down and clinch the three points through Tom Ince’s late strike but Gracia was unimpressed.”In the first half they were better than us. They controlled the game. The best thing for us was the reaction of the team in the second half,” he said.”I’m not so happy today because it’s not the way we want to play. We want to play in a constant way, not only in the second 45 minutes. It’s something we need to improve in the next games.”In the first half we were playing without moving the ball quickly and then it’s easy for opponents.”It’s hard to come back again but we did it. I’m happy for the result but maybe for other games we didn’t win I was happier than today.”We need to find a better balance to be more competitive.”LatestWatford news, analysis and fan viewsListen to Watford content on BBC Sounds
