INDIANAPOLIS — In a pivotal fourth-and-1 at the Indiana 5 with the Hoosiers leading 13-10 with 1:38 left in the third quarter, Ohio State quarterback Julian Sayin lined up for a quarterback sneak.The Heisman Trophy candidate surged forward for a first down, but play was stopped to the surprise of the Lucas Oil Stadium crowd. A replay shown on the video boards and in the press box brought reactions of realization that Sayin’s knee was down.While the game was still at a commercial break, referee Ron Snodgrass announced that Sayin’s knee was down short of the line to gain.
