UFC 323 bonuses: Great competition for $50K at final ESPN pay-per-view

The UFC handed out four bonuses after Saturday’s card in Las Vegas, including to the fighters in the final main event of the ESPN era. After UFC 323, four fighters picked up an extra $50,000 for their performances at T-Mobile Arena. Check out the winners below. Performance of the Night: Iwo BaraniewskiTheir fight lasted only 89 seconds, but Iwo Baraniewski (7-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) and Ibo Aslan (14-4 MMA, 2-3 UFC) put together perhaps the most fun quick blast of fighting of the entire year. They slugged it out with reckless abandon and put each other in danger numerous times, but Baraniewski hit the hardest last and got the finish. Performance of the Night: Manuel TorresFor the first time in his UFC career, Manuel Torres (17-3 MMA, 5-1 UFC) was an underdog when he stepped in against Grant Dawson (23-3-1 MMA, 11-2-1 UFC). It might be the last time. He blitzed through Dawson in short order and now has all five of his UFC wins by first-round knockout – and all five have gotten him $50,000 bonuses. Fight of the Night: Petr Yan def. Merab DvalishviliPetr Yan (20-5 MMA, 12-4 UFC) was dominated the first time he fought Merab Dvalishvili (21-5 MMA, 14-3 UFC). The rematch nearly was a reversal. The bantamweight champion had a decent first round, but then Yan took over, for the most part, and stuffed nearly two dozen Dvalishvili takedown attempts. He landed five of his own, outstruck the champ and beat the 5-1 favorite to win the title and become a two-time champion. This article originally appeared on MMA Junkie: UFC 323 bonuses: Great competition for $50K at final ESPN pay-per-view
