The Clemson Tigers are officially heading to a bowl game for the 21st consecutive season.The Tigers (7-5) reached bowl eligibility with their 45-10 win over Furman in Week 13, then followed it up with a 28-14 victory over rival South Carolina in the annual Palmetto Bowl to close the regular season on a four-game winning streak.While Clemson’s season was a far cry from where college football analysts and fans alike had envisioned, coach Dabo Swinney never takes bowl games for granted. “I’m excited about the postseason,” Swinney said on Dec. 1. “I don’t know where we’re going to go, but we’ll have a great time getting ready to go play somewhere.” After Sunday’s bowl game announcements trickled in, Swinney and Tigers now know officially where they’ll be spending bowl season. It’s the first time the Tigers have ever played in the Pinstripe Bowl, which debuted in 2010. The game has featured an ACC team every year since 2013, and pits the ACC against a Big Ten opponent annually.
