New England Patriots 11-2 (first place, AFC East)The Patriots, who have their bye in Week 14, have one more win than the Broncos, giving them a half-game lead for the top seed. They lead the Bills by 2.5 games in the division race.2. Denver Broncos 10-2 (first place, AFC West)The Broncos will look to beat the Raiders in Week 14 to make up the half-game on the Patriots. That would give them No. 1 with the conference-record tiebreaker (7-2 vs. 6-2). They go into Sunday leading the division by two games over the Chargers.3. Jacksonville Jaguars 9-4 (first place, AFC South)The Jaguars went up a full game and a head-to-head tiebreaker by beating the Colts at home in Week 14. They are looking good to win the division after losing early.4. Pittsburgh Steelers 7-6 (first place, AFC North)The Steelers beat the Ravens to take the division lead by a full game and hold the head-to-head tiebreaker. They also gained ground on the losing Bengals to gu up three games against them.5. Buffalo Bills 9-4 (second place, AFC East)The Bills shrunk the Patriots lead to two games with their win over the Bengals in Week 14 and further strengthen their favorable wild-card position, now in the top slot there before the Chargers play and after the Colts lost.6. Los Angeles Chargers 8-4 (second place, AFC West)The Chargers trail the Broncos by two games in the division race. They are ahead of the third-place Chiefs by two full games. They are a half-game behind the Bills and a half-game ahead of the Colts going into Monday night’s game vs. the eagle.s7. Indianapolis Colts 8-5 (second place, AFC South)The Colts lost to the Jaguars to fall a game back in the division race and also lost Daniel Jones to an Achilles’ injury in the process. They are suddenly in serious jeopardy of not making the playoffs at all with the crowd behind them.Who’s in the hunt?8. Houston Texans (7-5)9. Kansas City Chiefs (6-6)10. Baltimore Ravens (6-7)11. Seattle Seahawks 10-3 (first place, NFC West) The Seahawks had the same record as the Rams ahead of their Week 14 game at the Falcons but are up a half-game with a win. They also are a full game ahead of the third-place 49ers, who have a bye.2. Chicago Bears 9-3 (first place, NFC North)The Bears lead the division by a half-game over Packers and 1.5 games over the Lions. They led the Rams for the NFC top seed by a conference-record tiebreaker (6-2 vs. 4-3) going into Week 14. They need to beat the Packers in Green Bay to keep the lead after Week 14.3. Philadelphia Eagles 8-4 (first place, NFC East)The Eagles saw their division lead over the Cowboys increase to two games. They will hope to beat the Chargers to either make up ground or move up on Monday night.4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers 7-6 (first place, NFC South)The Buccaneers are still up a common-games tiebreaker on the idle Panthers, also 7-6,  after their shocking home upset loss to the Saints. The last four weeks will determine who wins the division as its sole playoff representative.5. Los Angeles Rams 9-3 (second place, NFC West)The Rams fell behind the Bears but still lead the Eagles, to whom they lost, by one game in the race for the top seed in Week 14. Their division lead was down to a head-to-head tiebreaker over the Seahawks and a half-game over the 49ers going into Week 14 and now they need to beat the Cardinals to regain first place.6. Green Bay Packers 8-3-1 (second place, NFC North)The Packers trail the Bears by a half-game because of that tie. They will try to jump the Bears when they play them in Green Bay on Sunday.7. San Francisco 49ers 9-4 (third place, NFC West)The 49ers seem back on track to at least earn a wild card spot behind the Seahawks, who they trail by a full game and the Rams, whom they trail by a half-game.Who’s in the hunt?8. Detroit Lions 8-59. Dallas Cowboys 6-6-110. Carolina Panthers 7-611. Minnesota Vikings 5-8The Lions improved their wild-card and NFC North-winning chances by beating the Cowboys on Thursday night, while the Cowboys are now hanging on by a thread in the NFC East race, their only legitimate path to make the playoffs.
