SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — This year’s NAIA Volleyball Semi finalists had an opportunity to train the next generation of athletes.Every year the NAIA puts together a youth clinic at the Tyson Event Center, allowing students in third through sixth grade to hone their skills with help from the semi-finalists colleges.Over the course of a couple hours, the teams ran drills, played games and answered any questions they might have about the sport.One player from Eastern Oregon University reminds kids to have fun and be supportive while playing volleyball.“Something that we’re really big on, it’s been kinda our motto this year, is just being genuinely happy for our teammates. In case we do have the opportunity like today I would say cheer as loud as you can for the people around you, be happy, enjoy every moment, and celebrate big,” said Mylie Mills, a volleyball player from Eastern Oregon University.This year’s final four is Indiana Wesleyan University vs. Eastern Oregon University and Northwestern College vs. Concordia University. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc.
