There was speculation Leavitt’s camp has been “shopping” him to major programs in anticipation of a Jan. 2 portal entry. Leavitt’s strong production at ASU before an injury puts him as one of the most sought-after quarterbacks on the market. There are several likely landing spots, especially with the vast number of new coaches in the country. Dillingham declined to address the rumors throughout the season, but his comments Sunday are noteworthy. This could be the time the Sun Devils will start looking for a new quarterback. Leavitt threw for 1,628 yards and 10 touchdowns this fall before the injury.
