This was their fourth consecutive win.The Jaguars now hold a one-game lead in the AFC South over the 8-5 Colts and the 8-5 Texans. In the overall AFC playoff picture, the Jaguars are the three seed.Using The Athletic’s 2025 NFL playoff simulator, the Jaguars’ current playoff chances sit at 98% — or another way to put it, Jacksonville is a near lock.The Jaguars’ chances of winning the AFC South are at 59% and their odds of securing the AFC’s No. 1 seed and a first-round playoff bye are at 6%.In order to accomplish that, the Jaguars would have to catch and pass the 11-2 New England Patriots and the 11-2 Denver Broncos.The Jaguars finish with what is, on paper, one of the easier remaining strength of schedules. This includes games against the New York Jets and the Tennessee Titans.Overall, the Jaguars have had the seventh most difficult strength of schedule in the NFL.
