CBB: Duke/Arizona Betting Prediction
We are headed to Tuscon, Arizona for another edition of late night hoops. An awesome matchup between two of the top college basketball programs. The Duke Blue Devils are on the road visiting the Arizona Wildcats.
I like the Wildcats wire to wire in this one. This is a potent offense for Arizona when it gets going. Between Love, Townsend and Bradley, the scoring options and playmakers are everywhere for this squad. I love the athleticism Awaka brings and I think he’ll be a spark plug early in this one, especially on the boards.
I’m not impressed by this Duke team so far and I think they’re in for a reality check early on in the dessert tonight. Duke is coming off a weak win over an opponent in Wofford, while Arizona is coming off a rough performance on the road in Wisconsin. The Wildcats come out of the locker room pissed off tonight. Their physicality advantage and more experienced guards will give them the edge in this one.
It’s also just a tough place to play on the road. Especially for a relatively young Duke team this season, I see plenty of reasons to back the Wildcats out the gate tonight.
