We are heading to Minnesota as the Wild host the Oilers in a western conference clash of two very good teams.
Minnesota and Edmonton both sit at 27-13 on the season. Minnesota is built primarily on defense. They allow just 2.7 goals per game. I think this team is a bit overrated overall due to their inconsistent offense. With that said, they are able to win close games, which goes a long way in this league.
Edmonton are just a fun team to watch. Great offense combined with great defense. They also allow just 2.7 goals per game, but are able to score well over 3 per game. Any team with Connor McDavid is must see TV.
Edmonton Oilers Vs Minnesota Wild Pick:
I am liking the under tonight between these two teams. They faced off twice this season already, and both results have yielded 8 goals. These defenses are way too good to keep disappointing.
Now that they are more familiar with each other, expect the defense to focus on what hurt them in the previous meetings. I expect a low scoring affair in this one.
