CBB: Evansville/Belmont Betting Prediction
The Evansville Purple Aces are on the road this afternoon to face off against the Belmont Bruins. This game is being played in Nashville, Tennessee. These two teams have already met once before this season. Two weeks ago, Belmont won a close one on the road against Evansville.
Tonight I like Belmont to win another one against this squad, this time a bit more comfortably. Evansville relies on perimeter shooting to get their victories. The Purple Aces are coming off two outright wins against tough competition. They’re feeling good coming into this one, but will be steamrolled nonetheless.
Belmont is a formidable mid major college basketball program, and are seeping with talent this season. Look for senior forward Jonathan Pierre to have a big game against this lowly Evansville defense. I expect Evansville to cool down from behind the arc and be stifled here in a tough road environment.
Look for Belmont to dominate the boards and get out to an early lead in this one.
