All 32 NFL teams (including the Texans) ranked by FPI ratings after Week 13

Going into Week 12 of the 2025 NFL season, how good are the Houston Texans? Even with a 7-5 record, not every team is built the same because of scheduling and injuries. That’s not Houston’s case, which comes in with a 3.0 Football Power Index (FPI) rating from ESPN, good enough for 11th overall in the NFL. Heading into Week 13, the Texans are among the top half of teams, especially after winning four straight games, including three against divisional opponents. The Kansas City Chiefs, fresh off a close loss against the Dallas Cowboys and 6-6 record, will take on the Texans this Sunday night on NBC at Arrowhead Stadium. With a win, Houston would all but guarantee a third-straight winning season and a spot in the AFC playoff picture. Even with a loss on the road, the Texans are very much still in the playoff running and are the potential favorite to come back and win the AFC South. As for Kansas City, it ranks first overall in FPI rankings with a 6.8 metric.FPI is “a measure of team strength that is meant to be the best predictor of a team’s performance going forward for the rest of the season,” according to ESPN.com.The Texans will end a two-game road trip before coming home against the Arizona Cardinals and Las Vegas Raiders. If Houston plans on getting back into the playoff picture, it needs to be in every game for the remainder of the regular season, knowing a loss could be the reason setbacks occur after back-to-back 10-win campaigns. Here’s a look at how the league’s 32 teams stack up based on FPI going into Week 14.NFL FPI rankingsKansas City Chiefs: 6.8Los Angeles Rams: 6.2Green Bay Packers: 5.3Detroit Lions: 4.5Indianapolis Colts: 4.4Seattle Seahawks: 3.9Buffalo Bills: 3.8Philadelphia Eagles: 3.6San Francisco 49ers: 3.6Baltimore Ravens: 3.1Houston Texans: 3.0Denver Broncos: 2.6Dallas Cowboys: 1.1New England Patriots: 1.0Cincinnati Bengals: 0.6Jacksonville Jaguars: 0.6Tampa Bay Buccaneers: -0.1Chicago Bears: -0.7New York Giants: -1.2Pittsburgh Steelers: -1.4Los Angeles Chargers: 1.5Arizona Cardinals: -1.6Washington Commanders: -2.1Atlanta Falcons: -2.8Miami Dolphins: -3.3Carolina Panthers: -4.1Minnesota Vikings: -4.2Las Vegas Raiders: -6.5New York Jets: -6.5New Orleans Saints: -8.3Tennessee Titans: -9.4Cleveland Browns: -10.0This article originally appeared on Texans Wire: All NFL teams (including the Texans) ranked by FPI ratings in Week 14
