Will Stein has officially been named the next head coach of Kentucky football. Now begins a warp-speed process of assembling his staff and building the roster for next season.Current/former defensive coordinator Brad White will not be part of that effort.According to CBS Sports’ Matt Zenitz, White is accepting an offer to become the next defensive coordinator of the Florida Gators, joining Jon Sumrall’s new coaching staff.The 43-year-old White just wrapped up his eighth season with the Wildcats, seven of which were as the defensive coordinator. He originally joined the program in 2018 as an outside linebackers coach after previously serving in that role for the Indianapolis Colts.White and Sumrall worked together from 2019-21 in Lexington. That connection helped lead White to follow Sumrall to Florida after the latter was named the Gators’ head coach Sunday.
