Breaking down the Steelers picks in our latest mock draft update

In our latest four-round NFL mock draft update for the Pittsburgh Steelers, we decided to focus heavily on rebuilding the offensive side of the football. The Steelers are set to have yet another new starting quarterback in 2026 and while we don’t expect that starter to come from this draft, we do feel like they have their quarterback of the future from this draft wihtout spending a first-round pick. Let’s break down the picks.First round – WR Carnell Tate – Ohio StateTate is the next great Ohio State wide receiver and an elite route runner. He’s going to be an immediate impact player in the league, no matter who is playing quarterback.Second round – OT Austin Siereveld – Ohio StateSiereveld is one of the most underrated tackle prospects in this draft and one of our favorites. He’s steady and consistent with some exceptional film. Adding him could allow the Steelers to move Troy Fautanu to guard and upgrade two positions at once.Third round – QB Jayden Maiava – USCWe love the high ceiling of Maiava and with a year or two in the league to polish his skills, has a shot to be a quality starter.Third round – S Emmanuel McNeil-Warren – ToledoTrue single-high safety with elite size and athleticism.Third round – DT Darrell Jackson Jr. – Florida StateMassive run stuffer the Steelers still don’t seem to have on the defensive line.Fourth round – WR Bryce Lance – North Dakota StateWe double dip at wide receiver with Lance, who is electric after the catch and plays with excellent physicality.Fourth round – CB Jalon Kilgore – Sourth CarolinaLow risk/high reward cornerback with all the measurables you could ask for but just needs more consistency in coverage. This article originally appeared on Steelers Wire: Breaking down the Steelers picks in our latest mock draft update
