The Browns are just a few games into the Shedeur Sanders era. But if you needed to see any indication of the belief that Kevin Stefanski actually has in the fifth-round pick, look no further than the game-deciding two-point try against the Titans. They took Sanders off the field completely when it mattered most. Just seconds after Sanders connected on a great pass to Harold Fannin Jr. for the touchdown, Stefanski and offensive coordinator Tommy Rees decided to go with a wildcat formation for the potential game-tying attempt with around a minute to go. It, uh, did not go well. Quinshon Judkins took the direct snap in what was supposed to lead to a pitch to Gage Larvadain, but the timing of the play was off. Again, if Sanders was on the field, the Browns would at least have an entire playbook to work with. But in a wildcat-style play, the Titans knew the Browns would be limited.
