The Georgia Bulldogs (12-1) are the No. 2 team in the US LBM Coaches Poll after winning the SEC championship 28-7 against the Alabama Crimson Tide. Georgia did receive one of the 62 first-place votes after their dominant win over Alabama with No. 1 Indiana (13-0) receiving the rest of the first-place votes. Next up for Georgia is a College Football Playoff game against either No. 6 Ole Miss or No. 18 Tulane. Georgia will play in the Sugar Bowl on New Year’s Day against the winner of Ole Miss-Tulane. Ole Miss has already notched a win over Tulane this season. The Bulldogs have ranked wins over No. 11 Alabama, No. 22 Georgia Tech, No. 6 Ole Miss, No. 14 Texas and No. 23 Tennessee this season.
