Inter Miami CF has won its first MLS Cup title in dominant fashion after defeating the Vancouver Whitecaps 3-1 at Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.Inter Miami took the lead on an own goal less than 10 minutes in, a pass deflected into the back of the net off Vancouver’s Édier Ocampo. The Whitecaps tied the game on Ali Ahmed’s goal in the 60th minute but Rodrigo De Paul put Miami ahead to stay about 10 minutes later, and Miami’s Tadeo Allende sealed the victory in stoppage time.In its sixth season in the league, Miami has joined the list of clubs that have lifted the Philip F. Anschutz Trophy.
