IU football leading receiver leaves Big Ten championship game with injury

INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana football receiver Omar Cooper Jr. suffered a lower body injury on the opening possession of the Big Ten title game on Saturday night at Lucas Oil Stadium.The No. 2 Hoosiers’ leading receiver was trying to track down a deep ball from Fernando Mendoza that was broken up safety Lorenzo Styles Jr.Cooper, Lawerence North grad, came up limping right away and eventually made his way to the trainer’s tent with a noticeable limp.
