Kansas City finished 9-7 and second in the AFC West.Reid took over as head coach the year in 2013 and led the Chiefs to an 11-5 record, which was good enough for a playoff berth. In his second season, however, Kansas City didn’t qualify for the postseason. Kansas City last missed the playoffs under the old playoff format, which featured only six teams.
