Liverpool midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai has been speaking to Sky Sports following the draw at Elland Road: “I don’t know what happened after 2-0. I think we thought the game was over. This is the kind of game where you can never underestimate the team. Maybe after the penalty they just had the momentum. We came back, which showed a good reaction, but we conceded again from a set-piece. That’s not the nicest way.”On how much of a toll the bad run of form is taking on the dressing room: “What’s in the dressing room stays in the dressing room, it’s not for the public. We have to manage it, we have to find solutions. You have to go home and think if you did everything that was possible, and if the answer is yes then we just keep going and the momentum will come.”On whether the champion mentality is still there: “It’s a good question. It’s hard to speak about it. I don’t even know what position we are. Every team is doing well, every team wants to win against the champions, we knew that before the season started. We have to find solutions, we have to show reactions, everybody has to take responsibility. Everybody has to go on the pitch and show they are ready to fight for this badge.”Did you know? There were just 130 seconds between Liverpool’s first and second goals in this game, and then just 165 seconds between Leeds United’s first and second goals.Only Nottingham Forest (11) have conceded more goals from set-pieces in the Premier League this season (excluding penalties) than Liverpool (10). The Reds have already shipped more set plays than they did in the whole of the 2024-25 Premier League season (9).
