The Panini Senior Bowl announced today that Texas redshirt senior safety Michael Taaffe has earned an invite to this season’s game in Mobile, Alabama, early next year. “The guy has been incredibly productive his whole career,” Drew Fabianich, the Senior Bowl’s executive director, told 247Sports. “There are some NFL teams that want to see him at nickel, because his size probably lends itself more to him playing nickel than playing safety.”Taaffe is currently the only Texas player to receive a Senior Bowl invite.
