Meghoma enjoys impact of ‘tactically amazing’ Rohl

[SNS]Jayden Meghoma is revelling in the chance to play regularly at Rangers, with the on-loan full-back praising the invigorating influence of head coach Danny Rohl. The Brentford teenager has made 20 appearances for the Ibrox side and scored his first goal with a stunning strike in Wednesday’s 2-2 draw away to Dundee United.Ten of those games have been under Rohl, who replaced Russell Martin in October, and Meghoma has been impressed by the German.”Tactically, he’s been amazing,” he explained. “Everybody gets along with him. We understand what we need to do as a team and I think he’s brought that positive energy back into the place and everybody can feel it.”Every experience I get here, I wouldn’t gain anywhere else. So, for me, the experience alone is invaluable and it’s one of the best places to play in football, at my age especially.”Back-to-back draws against Falkirk and Dundee United leave the Ibrox club – who visit Kilmarnock on Saturday night – nine points adrift of both Celtic and Hearts, with the top two facing each other on Sunday.”I think this is one of the most important parts of the season for us because with the amount of games we have, we can pick up a lot of points and put us in a good position to finish the season strong,” said Meghoma.”We’re improving every day. We still need to make sure that we win more games for this football club. The expectation here is really, really high.”We can’t be frustrated because we’re professionals and it’s our job to stay focused. For us, it’s just tactically taking on the information and implementing it in the best way possible.”[BBC]
