The 40-year-old lay motionless for several minutes after the bout was called, but regained consciousness and was helped to his stool after medical attention. Despite improving his 29-0 unbeaten record, Opetaia was unhappy with his performance in front of a home crowd. “You get these nights. We go back to the drawing board,” he said.”I’m very disappointed in myself – I feel like I’ve let some people down with that performance. I made a lot of mistakes.”Opetaia confirmed after the victory that he is eyeing WBO and WBA champion Gilberto Ramirez in order to unify the belts. “We want the unification fights,” said Opetaia.”We want Ramirez. I’ve been asking for them [Ramirez’s team] for a long time.”Boxing schedule and results 2025Watch every Born to Brawl episode
