Jones appeared in nine games for the Bears this season, logging 11 tackles on 148 special teams snaps. Chicago waived Jones Jr. before its game against the Packers on Sunday.Jones should help upgrade the Ravens’ special teams unit, which lost undrafted rookie linebacker Jay Higgins IV to a knee injury in Week 10 and undrafted linebacker Chandler Martin to a knee injury on Thanksgiving.A solid player at UCLA, Jones Jr. signed with the Bears as an undrafted rookie last year, when he appeared in one game.
