Mandatory Credit: Morgan Tencza-Imagn Images Last week, we asked Jacksonville Jaguars fans if they expect the team to remain at the top of the AFC South standings for the remainder of the season.71% of respondents said yes. That’s a lot!Only 2% of fans expected Jacksonville to win the division after its Week 10 collapse in Houston. Shoutout to the ones who never stopped believing! With three straight wins under their belt, the Jaguars (8-4) are in first place in the AFC South. They’ll have to win this weekend against the Colts to keep their lead. “Where we’re at in our season, it’s a big game,” Trevor Lawrence said Wednesday. “They’re all important though. All of the games are important to get to this point to put ourselves in position, but yeah, definitely big game.”As for the confidence survey, 91% of fans are confident in the direction of the team — up from 79% last week.Top comments from Wednesday’s post:JaxCommenterGuyWe have a much easier road than Colts or Texans. If we hold serve against Indy at home and Jets at home, we go into week 18 at worst 10-6.I think it’s still entirely possible the Colts don’t win another game. Not likely, but possible. If they lose the next 3, which is probably more likely than not, than they are 8-7 and all-but eliminated at that point. If they beat us, they are at 9-7.Texans can likely split their next 4 at 2-2, going into week 18 at 9-7.So, big game this weekend, and as much as it pains us, cheer hard for Chiefs/Chargers and 49ers/Seahawks.
