Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said Dec. 8 that Shedeur Sanders will start at quarterback for Cleveland for the rest of the season, including a Week 18 rematch with the Cincinnati Bengals at Paycor Stadium.The Browns announced Dec. 3 they opened Deshaun Watson’s 21-day practice window, giving the quarterback three weeks to prove he’s healthy enough to return to game action. Watson suffered a season-ending Achilles injury against the Bengals in Oct. 2024, and re-ruptured the ligament after having it surgically repaired.The AFC North rivals haven’t met since Week 1. The Bengals edged the Browns, 17-16, in Cleveland.Joe Burrow started for the Bengals in that game, before suffering a turf toe injury in Week 2. Joe Flacco, now Burrow’s Cincinnati backup, started for the Browns.Sanders is 1-2 as the Browns’ starter.
