Steelers receive multiple injury updates after Week 14 win over Ravens

The Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Baltimore Ravens in a must-win, divisional showdown in Week 14, but at what cost? The Steel City brand of football was plagued with injuries throughout the contest, with HC Mike Tomlin providing an update on multiple players who suffered setbacks in the win.In the post-game press conference, Tomlin specifically named four Steelers who suffered injuries in the victory over Baltimore, as well as pointing to a few players who were able to return to the game.”Unfortunately, we had a lot of guys go down in the game, but that’s kind of been a component of it, too,” Tomlin told reporters. “Darnell Washington had a concussion. Malik Harrison had a concussion. [Andrus] Peat had a concussion. [Keeanu] Benton had an ankle [injury]; he was able to go back. Couple of other evals, I think, were able to go back.”Besides Benton, Patrick Queen and Brandin Echols missed a few plays while they were evaluated for injuries but managed to return in a big way for Pittsburgh’s defense late in the game.Luckily for Pittsburgh, Washington, Harrison, and Peat will have one extra day to recover and potentially clear concussion protocol, as the Steelers will host the Miami Dolphins in Week 15 for Monday Night Football. For up-to-date Steelers coverage, follow us on X @TheSteelersWire and give our Facebook page a like. This article originally appeared on Steelers Wire: Steelers’ Washington, Harrison, Peat receive injury updates
