Women’s Volleyball: TCU sweeps Stephen F. Austin in first round of NCAA Tournament

The TCU Horned Frogs have advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the fourth consecutive season. Behind a team-best 19 kills on a .308 hitting percentage from outside hitter Evan Hendrix, who eclipsed 500 kills for her season, TCU took down Stephen F. Austin in three sets during first-round action in College Station on Friday evening. Ella Foti earned a double-double at the setter position, totaling 20 assists and 13 digs to pace the TCU attack. Rosemary Archer chipped in 10 assists for the Horned Frogs, who hit .302 as a team and held SFA to a .111 hitting percentage. TCU turned in eight blocks and had just one receiving error.
