They will be one of just four group winners to be paired with a group runner-up in the Round of 32, while the other eight group winners are paired against a third-place qualifier.Consequently, the Group C runner-up enters the top half of the bracket, slated to meet the winner of Group F, who is also one of the four unlucky winners.The third-place finisher in Group C, like all third-place qualifiers, has three potential places in the knockout stage bracket they could be sorted into should they qualify as one of the eight third-place qualifiers.
