CBB: Denver/Montana Betting Prediction
The Denver Pioneers are on the road this evening in Missoula to take on the Montana Grizzlies. I see a clear advantage with the home team in this one.
Denver is 3-2 so far this season, both losses being on the road. Whereas Montana is 2-3 this season, both wins being at home. All three road losses for the Grizzlies were against top 50 teams. They are much better than their record suggests, especially when facing weak opponents at home.
I see no shame in getting blown out by Tennessee or Oregon this year. I watched the Tennessee game, and it was obvious Montana guard Money Williams is no joke. What an awesome name, I know. A very bad defensive team in Denver should pose no issues for him tonight.
Montana has the better guards, a rebounding and size advantage, and should run the Pioneers right out of the gym tonight. I don’t expect Denver’s lucky performances to keep happening and they won’t shoot 50% from behind the arc again tonight.
Look for the Grizzlies to blow these guys out at home this evening. Coming off two road losses against great teams, Montana should come out and take care of business with some energy tonight. I think this spread should be closer to 15 points and see plenty of value here.
