CBB: LBSU/Pepperdine Betting Prediction
A couple Southern Californian teams face off in this one. Long Beach State is on the road to take on the Pepperdine Waves.
There’s a lot of offensive talent on this Pepperdine squad, however it took awhile to show this season. They have been in great form as of recent, winning 4 of their last 5 games. I like their offense to stay hot tonight against an undersized and weaker opponent.
Yes Long Beach State has won it’s last three games, I understand that. They have been relying on outstanding and unsustainable three point shooting in these games though. 53.8% and 76.9% are their three point percentages for the last two games. LBSU won’t keep this up tonight and Pepperdine should see an easy victory as a result.
Look for the Waves to win the battle on the glass and pose some issues for Long Beach State’s guards defensively. Long Beach State is an offense that will go scoreless for minutes on end if their three pointers aren’t falling.
