CBB: Loyola Marymount/Washington State Betting Prediction
I am back with a late night college hoops article. We have a conference tournament showdown tonight between Loyola Marymount and Washington State. These teams faced off only once this season, a result ending in a 14 point win for WSU. I like the Washington State Cougars to get it done again tonight and advance in tournament play.
The Cougars started this season on a tear. They’ve recently hit a rough patch but I like them to potentially make some noise in this WCC Tournament. It’s been a decent first season as head coach for David Riley, they’re a young squad with some serious talent.
Loyola is coming off a huge offensive performance against a lowly San Diego squad. I wouldn’t pay that victory much respect, that is a god awful team. Washington State’s guards and defense should give Loyola a lot of problems tonight.
I expect Nate Calmese of WSU to torch Loyola up again, as he did back in December against them. Look for the Cougars to win the battle on the glass in this one, and control the game wire to wire. I think there’s a good chance we see an easy late night victory here and the Cougars get back on track.
