CBB: Virginia/California Betting Prediction
We are back with another late night college basketball article play. Tonight we have Virginia on the road to take on the California Golden Bears.
Neither team is off to the best start this season, A combined record of 1-4 in conference play between the two teams. This Virginia team however seems to be the weaker squad if you ask me. They are not good on the road, and have played the majority of their games at home so far this year. I think we’ll see a bit of a “Perfect Storm” early on in this one for a lowly Virginia team.
The Virginia Cavaliers have taken a huge dip in talent this year as opposed to years past. I like California to come out of the locker room with some energy at home, and take command early.
California is coming off a couple tough opponents on the road. Tonight we see a classic “get right” spot for them at home. They are the much better offensive team in this one. Look for Stojakovic and the rest of the boys to control the pace early on.
There are no pressing offensive threats for Virginia this season. They rely on their defense to win games. California relies on their offense on the other hand. I think we may see a closer game down the stretch, leading me to prefer the Golden Bears in the first half tonight.
