Happy Monday DBB Army! I hope everyone had an amazing weekend and came out profitable on what was a thrilling weekend for the NFL Playoffs. For tonight’s play, we will be looking at the last game on the slate which has the #3 ranked Iowa State Cyclones on the road going up against the unranked Arizona Wildcats. At the time of the original lines being posted, Iowa State stood at a -118 Moneyline favorite in the matchup. At the time this article is being written, The Cyclones now stand at a +2.5 UNDERDOG, with the Moneyline at +124. In addition to this line movement favoring Arizona, it appears that the public is still backing Iowa State according to every public odds/splits website I’ve checked so far today.
Although this is a battle of ranked vs unranked, I don’t believe the rankings paint a clear picture of the overall matchup at hand. Arizona was a program that had tremendously high hopes starting the season ranked at #9, but unfortunately a slow start to the season found themselves quickly without a number by their name at all. That being said, The Wildcats have won 6/7 games in the month of January, including 3 in a row against ranked opponents. Something tells me we’re going to see more of the same tonight in what should be an electric game to watch. In a matchup where a majority of the public is backing the #3 ranked Cyclones, we are going to take our talents to the other side and put our faith in The Wildcats tonight.
