NBA: Bucks/Suns Player Prop

NBA: Bucks/Suns Betting Prediction

Brook Lopez hasn’t had back to back outings with multiple three pointers made since February. This obscure trend will hit for the first time in the month of March, tonight in Phoenix.

A quick real life anecdote before getting into tonight’s player prop selection. I once met Brook Lopez while I was at Disneyland in 2013 with my family. Brook was with the Brooklyn Nets that season, and he was dealing with some sort of knee injury.

I wish I could tell you he was a nice guy lol. I asked him for a quick photo and he declined. Saw him hours later in line for “Splash Mountain”, hard guy to miss, especially while using crutches. I asked him again for a photograph and he declined once again. Looking back on it now, he probably didn’t want it posted on social media that he was walking around Disneyland in the middle of the season when he was supposed to be at home injured.

Nonetheless we’re giving Mr. Lopez a chance to right the ship tonight and get back in Bill’s good graces. I watched his last game against a Sacramento and he was really letting the three ball fly. His stroke from deep looked smooth and I like him to notch a few more threes in this one tonight.

I do expect this matchup to go under the pregame total. This is my only worry for this pick, his shot attempts will be there against a mediocre Suns defense however. I also find value on this play given the fact that Milwaukee is without Lillard in this one. Someone’s gotta shoot the three for the Bucks and Brook has shown the ability to do that well at times this season.

I think the line points to the over here and like Lopez to keep his hot shooting going on their west coast road trip. Let it fly big man!

Pick: Brook Lopez over 1.5 three pointers made -121 (1U)
