Game: Denver Nuggets vs Portland Trail Blazers

This is a clear mismatch, and I love this spot for Denver.
Even though the Blazers have been playing well as of late, they are simply no match for the defending champs. Nikola Jokić is putting up insane numbers, averaging 29 points, 12.7 rebounds, and 10 assists per game. He continues to dominate every aspect of the game, making Denver’s offense nearly unstoppable.
Even if Michael Porter Jr. isn’t available, the Nuggets still have more than enough firepower. Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon provide strong secondary scoring, and Denver’s ball movement creates high-percentage looks all game long.
Portland might keep it close early, but over four quarters, the talent gap is too wide. Expect the Nuggets to control the pace, wear the Blazers down, and cover the spread.
