NBA Playoffs: Nuggets/Thunder Game 1 Betting Prediction
We’re headed to Oklahoma City tonight for the first game of the series between the Thunder and the Nuggets.
I expect the current NBA championship favorite, the Thunder, to win this series pretty easily. I think there are some serious defensive and transition weaknesses for Denver that OKC will be able to exploit. The Clippers matched up much better with SGA and the Thunder, and I believe would’ve posed more issues than we’ll see from the Nuggets. Look for OKC to set the tone tonight with a stellar performance in front of their home fans.
I expect a high paced affair in this one. The Thunder have been the more organized lethal offensive force all season. They also have the size and rebounding to give Jokic some issues. The Nuggets are coming off a great performance at home, I think they’re in for a reality check tonight. The line is pointing to an OKC blowout, and I seem to agree.
Look for OKC to dominate the transition game and put up a good fight on the glass. I think the Thunder get out to an early lead this one and hold onto it comfortably. Make sure to let me know on Twitter if you are riding with us.
