HINTON, WV (WVNS) – Some local college ballers brought their own day camp to Summers County Comprehensive High School to show kids the way of the Mountain Lion. Former Bobcat star and current Concord guard Brandan Isaac wanted to give kids exposure to higher level hoops training Sunday, December 7, 2025. Sam Boothe and Cole Lambert, both former standouts on the hardwood at Mercer Christian Academy and Wyoming East, joined in on the fun, coaching at the day camp with their assistant coach Drew Greene.

Right now we are in school [at Concord], we are together, we are in season. So, you know, we figured we would help each other out. It is just a way for me to give back to my community and help my community in ways that, you know, we feel like they may need,” said Isaac.These 4 chose to train some younger ballers on one of their few off days during their long college hoops season. In fact, Cole Lambert logged 23 minutes, 6 points and 3 assists just the night before in their massive win over Charleston.“We know what the game of basketball has done for us. We want to instill that in these younger generations as well,” said Boothe.Assistant Coach Greene told 59News that there could be more of these camps in the future.“If it goes well, then I have no issue going and finding times to go to Wyoming County, to go to Hinton.
