Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers needs to forget about his performance in week 13. Flowers had a season low of six receiving yards versus the No. 32-ranked Cincinnati Bengals defense last Thursday on Thanksgiving. Despite seven targets, Flowers had just two catches in the 32-14 loss, results that strongly associate with the game plan failures of offensive coordinator Todd Monken.Hopefully, Flowers and Monken can write a blank check this week and cash it in at M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday. Monken needs to dig into the playbook and bring back the crossing routes and three-step intermediate pass plays that allow Flowers to succeed and be a threat. Yards after catch were essential to Flowers’ success last season. Still, the offensive strategy has turned Flowers into more of a possession receiver than a playmaker. The Ravens are averaging around twelve incompletions per game over the last three weeks, and Flowers has only had one 100-yard receiving game this season. The Steelers rank No. 28 in opponent pass yards per game, but they will likely amp up their intensity versus their rival on the road. Steelers defensive back Jalen Ramsey rested and was a non-participant on Friday at practice, but will likely play this upcoming Sunday and take on the responsibility of covering Flowers. Ramsey was able to limit Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase to just three catches in week 11, so Flowers must be up for the challenge to make his impact in the must-win game for his team. If Flowers can have a breakout game, the Ravens offense should be able to dictate the tempo and escape M&T Bank Stadium with the No. 1 seed in the AFC North..oembed-frame {width:100%;height:100%;margin:0;border:0;}”Everything we want to accomplish is still in front of us.” pic.twitter.com/Wd6p1XwKnk— Baltimore Ravens (@Ravens) November 28, 2025This article originally appeared on Ravens Wire: Ravens WR Zay Flowers needs to write a blank check at M&T Bank Stadium
