Some of the top recruiting prospects from around the nation choose to sign with their respective schools months before February’s National Signing Day. Just days after Lane Kiffin accepted the head coach position at LSU, he will now be tasked with signing his first recruiting class for the Tigers. While most of the commitments in LSU’s 2026 class came under former Tigers head coach Brian Kelly, Kiffin was able to sign some new players as well. Washington was committed to LSU since June. 4-star OT Brysten Martinez signs with Tigers Brysten Martinez signed with LSU on Tuesday. On Monday, 4-star wide receiver Corey Barber decommitted from Ole Miss and received an offer from LSU. As Kiffin gets more settled into his new digs, expect the Tigers to climb up both of those rankings. The Tigers have inked top-10 recruiting classes in five out of their last six classes, dating back to 2020.
