NBA: Rockets/Lakers Betting Prediction
Welcome to another addition of our late night hoops articles. Tonight we’re in Los Angeles, as the Rockets are on the road to take on the Lakers. I like defense to be the focal point in this one.
I expect the Rockets to control the pace in this one and as a result we’ll see a slow tempo. The path to a road victory here for Houston starts on the defensive end. The Rockets are coming off a 148 point outing in Phoenix just last night. Now they face a back to back and a tough Lakers squad. Houston will have to play a slow pace to have a chance at winning this one. They’re the much better team and I expect Los Angeles to see some regression after all three of their stars had great offensive outings last game for them.
Both teams are in the thick of the Western Conference playoff race and are coming off big scoring games as a team. I like this one to be a low scoring wire to wire battle. Should be playoff level basketball and defense being showcased tonight at the Crypto.com arena.
